The Meaning Behind Valkyrie Living

I chose the name Valkyrie Living because it reflects both who I am—and how I live.

In Norse mythology, Valkyries were strong, discerning women who chose wisely, protected what mattered, and guided others through moments of transition. That meaning resonated deeply with me.

I’ve spent much of my life in service—as a military officer—where discipline, leadership, and clarity aren’t optional. But my most defining lessons didn’t come from deployments or command roles. They came through personal seasons of rebuilding—navigating divorce, raising my children, and creating stability and purpose through uncertainty.

During those chapters, I learned something powerful:
Order creates peace.
Not perfection—intention.

Organization became more than tidy shelves. It became a way to reclaim control, create calm, and design a life that supports who you are becoming—not who you had to be in survival mode.

That philosophy is the foundation of Valkyrie Living.

I approach each space with strength, care, and discernment—helping you keep what serves you, let go of what doesn’t, and create systems that allow you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

This isn’t about aesthetic trends.
It’s about intentional living—and creating a home that supports your next chapter.
